As a Property Tax Assistant, you will process documents related to real estate property records, change property ownership, process property splits, plats and replats; and maintain annual redemption procedure.

Full-time, regular position.
Monday – Friday (based on 8 hours per day/40 hours per week), benefit eligible.
There might be a variation to work hours and days to support the department and County needs.
Starting salary $46,354.

IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, detail orientated, who can learn, read, interpret, and apply accounting principles and laws, codes, and regulations.
Has the ability to apply accounting principles and maintain accurate and complete records.
Can operate computerized accounting software, integrated data management systems, and other office productivity software including spreadsheets and word processing applications.
Strong communication and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and the public as required.
Excellent customer service and business etiquette skills are mandatory.
Minimum Qualifications for consideration: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education/Training - Associate degree in related field.
Experience -Three (3) years of related experience.
