Position Summary
Minnkota Power Cooperative is seeking qualified applicants for a Cloud System Administrator at our headquarters in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and control of the assigned hardware, operating system software, and cloud systems.
They will coordinate improvements, enhancements, and upgrades as well as configure, secure, support, and monitor internal and/or external networks.
Responsible for placing safety and security as the #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
The salary range for this position begins at $79,830 per year.
Appropriate pay will be determined based on a candidate's skills, education, and previous relevant experience.
Essential Responsibilities
1.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Designs, implements, and oversees scalable and resilient M365 cloud infrastructure solutions.
Administers and optimizes cloud services within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related components.
Monitors and analyzes the performance of Microsoft 365 cloud-based systems, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues promptly to maintain continuous availability of M365 cloud services.
Stays abreast of Microsoft 365 security features and updates, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
Develops and maintains automation scripts for M365 cloud provisioning, configuration, and management.
Utilizes PowerShell scripting to enhance automation and streamline administrative tasks.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective M365 cloud solutions.

Manages and maintains the enterprise systems infrastructure.
Assists in designing, documenting, and implementing systems, integrations, and configurations.
Provides support to systems including day-to-day activities to ensure 24x7 availability.
Monitors and provides support and resolution for all client/server/storage devices.
Implements change management procedures.
Patches and Maintenance of assets

Assists end users by providing ongoing support and technical assistance.
Provides timely responses to all support tickets and queries from end users.
Monitors the department’s help desk for tickets.
Collaborates with technical support as an escalation point for support tickets.
Works with vendors to report bugs and monitors support requests through to resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
OR Associates degree in Computer Science or related field AND some system/network administration experience
Experience
Required:
Proven experience as an Administrator specializing in Microsoft 365 Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 cloud services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and associated tools.
Strong PowerShell scripting skills for M365 automation.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance features.
In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 security best practices and compliance standards.
Experience in managing identity and access within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Experience preferred with systems administration including server-side development, VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, and server/storage systems hardware and architecture.
