The TNE IMPACT Center will be a facility that allows for new, innovative, and highly capable methods to add real value for our customers and employees.
It will support all departments across our retail locations, improve efficiency in new equipment setup, and reconditioning, streamline parts storage and transfers, and improve our customer service abilities in our retail locations.
Provide added space for growing our CDIP education process for our customers and cross-training our departments on new John Deere technology and equipment.

The 2024 Internship Program is for students enrolled in major fields of study that could align with full-time employment opportunities at True North Equipment.
Students may enter the program during undergraduate or graduate studies.
Most of our internship experiences are offered in the summer months, usually lasting 12+ weeks.
You’ll focus on:
Observe and optimize processes to improve product flow and technician efficiency
Design and fabricate equipment and/or tools to improve accuracy and output
Identify and train staff on best practices
Standardize work areas and processes within the production facility
Assist in implementing new equipment
Provide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)
Help design and implement Poka-Yoke methods
Help to make safety improvements across all processes
Generate facility, tool, and equipment drawings as needed
Help to identify opportunities to improve inventory management
What we are looking for:
In progress towards a college degree.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff in a team environment.
Previous experience in agriculture or manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to problem-solve, identify, and test innovative solutions.
Hands-on experience using basic tools is preferred.
Familiarity with the use of drafting programs to generate facility or tooling drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Minimum required cumulative GPA of 2.
