We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team.
As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to freshly poured concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth and durable final product.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare concrete surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
- Apply concrete finishes such as troweling, brooming, or stamping
- Operate concrete mixers and other heavy equipment as needed
- Use hand tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces
- Repair and patch damaged or uneven areas of concrete
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
- Experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related field
- Knowledge of different types of concrete finishes and techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Knowledge of caulking, plastering, roofing, or flooring installation is a plus
