The *A&P Technician* troubleshoots, repairs, inspects and performs maintenance on customer aircraft.
*Essential Functions:*
* Adhere to Company’s General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positions.
* Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Adhere to Company’s Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hangar positions.
* Participate in 5-S activities.
* Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
* Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
* Operate ground support equipment as required.
* Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
* Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
* Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.
* Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft
* Assist with aircraft component repair.
* Assist with engine removal / installation.
* Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
*Requirements*
*Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:*
*Education:*
*Required*
* High school diploma or GED.
* A & P Certificate
* Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
The ability to successfully complete the following trainings provided by AAA United States, Inc.
after recruitment:
* Health & Safety
* General aircraft familiarization
* Quality trainings
*Preferred*
* Able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable.
*Experience:*
*Required*
* 3+ years aircraft maintenance experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
* Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
* Own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
*Preferred:*
* Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft
*Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:*
* Knowledge of station safety, quality (clean as you go/FOD) and OSHA regulations.
*Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):*
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
