We are seeking hard-working, dependable Directional Drill Operators to join our crew for the upcoming construction season, starting April 2024, near Grand Forks, ND.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Job Requirements:
* Safely and properly handle the equipment
* Willing to perform job functions in a safe and timely manner
* Have a current valid driver's license
* Maintain a current health certificate or be able to obtain one
* Have the ability to lift at least 75 pounds
* Have the ability to stand, kneel, bend, squat, twist as needed throughout the day
* Operate a variety of hand and power tools
* Perform light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
* Hand dig and backfill trenches
* Cooperate with laborers and other equipment operators to complete tasks efficiently and with good quality
* Maintain a willingness to help out with other job functions at all times
* Communicate with crew members as tasks and/or conditions change
Safety Requirements
* Wear required PPE at all times
* Safely drive company vehicles to include safe transport and proper load securement
* Attend required safety meetings/training
* Inspect tools and equipment daily
* Recognize any hazards around existing underground and overhead utilities
* Set up/tear down temporary traffic control and safety barricades
* Work safely and responsibly so as not to intentionally or unintentionally injure anyone on the job site
* Seek assistance if there is any question on how to safely perform a task
* Report any unsafe working conditions to supervisors and safety committee personnel

Pay: $25.
00 - $30.
00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
