Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the entire operation of the warehouse and shipping and receiving department.
This position will ensure the highest level of service to our customers by delivering high quality standards.
Must be able to deliver results in an efficient and safe manner while maintaining policies, procedures of the Company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Has clear expectation and manages the warehouse supervisors / foreman for shipping & receiving and warehouse.
Leads, directs, and develops a team to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Grand Forks facility that include safety, service, GMP's, sanitation, and efficiency.
Evaluates labor and equipment requirements based on production and customer demand
Manages personnel through coaching, teaching, and disciplinary action.
Effectively coordinates with operations to optimize flow of goods and materials through the Grand Forks Warehouse and outside warehouses.
Leads complaint investigation and root cause analysis with corrective actions
Owns the relationships with 3rd party logistics providers (warehousing and trucking).
Monitors, evaluates, and improves performance when needed.
Ensures success measures are reached.
Ensures safety, loading, receiving, picking and transportation goals are met.
Monitors crewing schedules, performance evaluations, and delivers metrics
Collaborates and develops processes to increase safety, efficiency, and service.
Decreases costs through the management of labor, inventory accuracy and reduction of damage goods
Evaluates and recommends continuous improvement solutions
Plans labor requirements to match the expected inbound and outbound demand
Optimizes storage space though consolidation and elimination of dead inventory
Owns inventory accuracy through reconciliation, physical inventory, and cycle counts.

Education
Bachelor degree in business, logistics, or supply chain OR 6+ years in a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution operation performing a leadership role.
