The starting rate of pay for this position will be $54.
71/hr as defined in the labor agreement.
This is a non-rotating pay position with no split shifts.
The position will be posted for 10 Working Days from January 23rd, 2024 to February 5th, 2024.
Job Responsibilities (May include, but not limited to the following) 1.
The Garage Section Foreman will provide leadership and work direction to subordinates as well as coordinating and prioritizing work based on customers’ needs, in addition to other duties assigned by management.
Duties include hands on repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of Xcel Energy fleet cars, trucks, and off- road equipment.
Repairs done at shop facilities and/or job site fieldwork with mobile truck.
This position will work a Monday through Friday schedule, which is normally from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Must have the ability to inspect, service, repair, and diagnose as well as properly make minor and major repairs to electrical, hydraulic, gasoline, and diesel systems.
Garage duties will be the primary function of this position and this position will not be used to permanently replace the Material Handler or facilities serviceperson.
Qualifications Must be a Journeyman mechanic High school diploma or GED A two year technical, vocational or trade school diploma or degree in automotive, truck, and/or heavy equipment is desired Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively A minimum of five years verifiable experience in the automotive/truck maintenance field is required Drug/Alcohol testing as required by the DOT Must meet driver qualification requirements as specified in FMCSR Parts 382 and 391 including the possession of a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class A Furnish own tools, standard and metric in accordance with the Dept tool list A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times Mobile repair experience desired Must reside within 20 mile radius of the assigned service center As a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company, Xcel Energy offers a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services to 3.
