Job Summary:
Perform planning, scheduling and inventory support functions to ensure that the plant operating schedule is created, updated and satisfies customer demands while maintaining plant efficiencies.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.
m.
- 5 p.
m.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide back-up support for Production Scheduler
Run gross requirement reports based on production schedule to ensure components are on-hand prior to production
Run inventory commitment report; Verify all orders are on the production schedule and are being produced on time for customer needs
Print out pallet report by lot date and ensure that scheduled items were produced to the correct quantity
Review change order log and sales log to ensure that orders were received and entered into the production schedule correctly
Update packaging and raw material "flow sheets" and issue purchase orders for packaging and raw materials
Physically verify packaging components in production and warehouse areas to ensure that they match flow sheets and MAS200 inventory levels
Interact with Plant Manager and Factory Accounting group to ensure accurate and timely information sharing
Communicate effectively all shortage and potential shortage information to the appropriate personnel to ensure optimum customer service
Other Job Functions:
Perform cycle counts
Assist with physical inventories
Follow all Safety, GMP and Food Safety requirements
Perform other duties assigned by immediate supervisor
Essential Job Requirements:
Minimum of a HS Education; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Production or Supply Chain preferred
Prefer minimum of two years' experience in planning, scheduling or inventory control
Prior experience in an automated food manufacturing facility preferred
High level of computer proficiency required, including Excel
Prompt and regular attendance required for the job
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities necessary
High level of detail orientation required
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
Must be self-motivated
Ability to occasionally work in production environment that is high in dust, noise, heat, and humidity
