Responsible for cross training, line balance, and has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Communicates effectively with internal customers.
Mentors and develops the assistant supervisor for roles of increased responsibility.
Maintains necessary paperwork and documentation.
Creates a safe work environment as measured by OSHA incident rate.
Masters the technical aspects of the department to be able to provide insights and fresh viewpoints.
Investigates technical, process, system and people issues, including quality concerns, to determine root causes and implement remedies.
You’re a great fit if you have:
Proven experience in manufacturing; labor intense preferred.
Demonstrated supervisory experience.
Must have a strong ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize daily responsibilities.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Possess interpersonal skills; ability to evaluate, empower, and mentor employees.
Experience in overall Operations including Quality, Maintenance, Receiving and Shipping in addition to Production.
Hours: 2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 2am *Overtime required
