POSITION SUMMARY Position will follow all required processes while operating multiple pieces of equipment to include but not limited to; routers, table saws, chop saws, and/or panel saws to cut various production pieces to specific dimensions and ID mark per instructions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Correctly follow the applicable operating procedures and/or work instructions/processes, such as work order, traveler, MPS, engineer directive and other documented work instructions.
● Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, angle gauges, and other hand tools, to verify work meets the requirements of the product.
● Process parts in accordance with specific work instructions.
● Conduct first piece inspection as specified in instructions.
● Per standard operating procedures submit completed parts to Quality Assurance for inspection and approval.
● Consult QA on measurement techniques.
● Properly clean and ID mark parts.
● While following all safety procedures and processes, properly maintain production equipment/tools.
● As directed, collect, and deliver any quality samples for testing/monitoring correctly and in a timely manner.
● Consistently keep work areas clean, free of safety hazards, and assist others in doing the same as needed.
● Empty dust collection boxes on a weekly basis.
● Empty water trap on air line on a weekly basis.
● Other duties and other areas as assigned by your production supervisor.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS ● Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks.
● Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
● Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
