*Job Title: *Production Welder

*Job Summary*:
This Production Welder position will weld metal components together to fabricate products according to prints and work orders using wire feed (mig), stainless, aluminum & tig equipment.
This individual will be responsible for operating welding equipment in a safe manner and production support duties as required.
The individual must have good knowledge of various welding equipment and an understanding of proper welding techniques of various metals as specified on prints.
This individual will be using welding fixtures and jigs for creating various types of fabricated products, from simple to highly complex.
*Core Roles:*
* Fabricate and weld parts according to print and instructions.
* Measure and record accuracy of welded parts.
* Keep a clean and safe work environment.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Keep accurate records and complete paperwork as required for the jobs.
* Perform quality checks on parts being run.
* Use and understand appropriate measurement tools for the job being run.
* Run additional production equipment as needed when required.
* Other duties, including clean-up, assigned by Department Supervisor or Manager.
*Required Skills:*
* Attention to detail and accuracy is critical for all parts being produced.
* Must keep accurate records and complete paperwork as required for the job being run.
*Preferred Skills:*
* The ability to operate forklift, training will be provided by the company.
* The ability to distinguish basic types of metal.
*Physical Requirements: (If appropriate to include)*
* Must be able to lift weights appropriate to assigned task (Mechanical lifts are available for heavier loads).
* Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (Up to three (3) hours).
* Must be able to bend at waist and/or knees to properly lift pan of parts.
* Must be able to push loads on carts up to 500 lbs.
* Must be able to perform simple addition, copying figures, counting, and recording.
* Must be able to follow written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
* Must be able to safely perform repetitive motions with fingers, wrists, hands, arms and Legs.
