Water Distribution Operator

Duties: - Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems - Monitor and analyze wastewater samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed - Collect and record data on wastewater treatment processes - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with logic controllers and other control systems - Conduct heavy lifting and physical tasks as required for equipment maintenance and repairs - Build, install, and maintain plumbing systems related to wastewater treatment Skills: - Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation, maintenance, and repair - Proficiency in wastewater treatment processes and procedures - Ability to analyze wastewater samples using appropriate testing methods - Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required - Familiarity with logic controllers and other control systems used in wastewater treatment - Strong attention to detail for accurate data collection and record keeping - Knowledge of plumbing systems for installation and maintenance purposes Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
