has partnered with a company in Crookston, Minnesota that is North America's heavy-duty transit bus leader.
We are looking for experienced Production Assembler who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for providing programming, troubleshooting and repair of vehicle electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems as required to meet production goals.
Document work and results as required and advise management of vehicle condition.
Work overtime as required to complete production goals.
Function in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and maintain control of situations as they arise.
Essential Functions:
Understanding of advanced electrical theory, both AC and DC
Ability to perform multimeter functions as required to complete all troubleshooting
Understanding of series, parallel, and advanced electrical circuits
Advanced understanding of PLC logic with ability to troubleshoot PLC systems
Advanced understanding of relay logic with ability to troubleshoot relay systems
Advanced understanding of communication networks such as CAN
Understanding of various Hybrid Drive systems and ability troubleshoot and repair
Ability to identify all components on an NFI electrical schematic
Computer skills to include Excel, Outlook, Internet browsers
Must apply safe working practices with electrical systems by adhering to safety policies, procedures and processes.
Must have good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must perform work allocated.
Must be able to learn and work with 12V and 24V systems.
Must be able to learn how to work around high voltage systems (200+ Volts).
Intermediate level computer skills preferred.
Knowledge of electrical components and how they work (for example resistors, diodes and relays) a plus.
Must be able to bend, stoop and reach.
Must be able to climb up and down as well as work using a ladder.
Ability to adapt to change.
Requirements:
High School or GED equivalent
Associate degree in automotive discipline, electronics, or equivalent vocational school/job experience combination.
Be a team player, a self-starter and be able to work in a team setting.
Good communication skills, ability to work with little supervision, with excellent time management skills.
