As a Production Assembly Worker in our Production Team, you will be responsible for assembling and installing components on heavy-duty transit buses within your assigned work area on the production line while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
*1st Shift: *7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday-Friday and earn $20.
45 per hour.
*2nd Shift: *4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Monday-Friday) and earn $20.
45 per hour.
There is an additional $1.
10 per hour for 2nd shift.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Complete installations and assemblies within your designated work area, following assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists.
* Ensure the quality and consistency of installations and assemblies, using measurement tools and basic math skills.
* Utilize hand and air tools proficiently, often working near moving mechanical parts.
* Lift and move materials as needed (up to 50 pounds) and perform various physical tasks.
* Maintain a clean and safe workspace and be present to perform your duties, including occasional overtime as required to meet production schedules.
*Requirements for Success:*
* Proficiency with hand and power tools, along with the ability to read and follow intermediate instructions.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication, self-motivation, and excellent time management skills.
* On-the-job training is available.
