*Job Summary:*
The Piano Department and Lesson Program Representative will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the piano department and lesson program within our organization.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and will be working directly with the piano department manager and lesson program coordinator.
The representative will manage customer relations, inventory, deliveries, website maintenance, lesson program sign-up, as well as teacher and student schedules.
*Responsibilities:*
* Customer Relations
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients interested in piano lessons or purchasing piano-related products.
* Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to enhance their experience and satisfaction.
*Inventory Management:*
* Monitor and maintain inventory levels of piano-related products.
* Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
* Conduct regular inventory audits to track product availability and identify discrepancies.
* Maintain in-store displays and stock.
*Deliveries:*
* Coordinate and schedule piano deliveries to customers' homes or designated locations.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of pianos, ensuring proper handling and installation.
* Communicate delivery schedules with customers and update them on any changes or delays.
*Website Management:*
* Update and maintain the piano department section of the company website.
* Ensure product listings, pricing, and availability are accurately reflected online.
* Regularly review and optimize website content to improve user experience and search engine visibility.
*Lesson Program Sign-Up:*
* Assist prospective students and parents with the enrollment process for piano lessons.
* Provide information about lesson offerings, curriculum, and instructor qualifications.
* Process student registrations and handle associated paperwork efficiently.
*Teacher and Student Schedules:*
* Coordinate schedules for instructors and students, ensuring optimal utilization of teaching resources.
* Manage lesson schedules, rescheduling requests, and cancellations in a timely manner.
* Communicate schedule changes to instructors and students as necessary.
*Schedule:*
* Full-time position offering 40 hours per week.
* Work hours are Tuesday-Saturday, from 9:30am to 6pm Tuesday-Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm.
* Closed Sundays
*Education/Qualifications:*
* Exceptional organizational skills combined with a keen eye for detail.
* While a college degree in Music, Business Administration, or related field is preferred for the Piano Department and Lesson Program Representative role, we value attributes such as organizational prowess, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic over specific academic qualifications.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundamental computer literacy.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment, maintaining a positive demeanor in all circumstances.
*Working Conditions:*
* This position primarily operates in an office or retail environment but may require occasional work during evenings or weekends to accommodate lesson schedules or special events.
* The representative may need to lift and move moderate-weight items during inventory management or delivery tasks.
* Interaction with students, parents, instructors, and other staff members is frequent, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
