Job Description Summary Sort, identify and store incoming materials and supplies in specified storage bins, shelves, and other locations.
Count, prepackage, label, and perform other operations to facilitate storage and selection.
Maintain simple related stock records.
Make entries on company documents and records as to count, location, type, and other pertinent data Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Performs a variety of duties to receive supplies from outside of the company, warehouse, keeps records, verify accuracy on inventory and distributes materials and supplies to various departments of the company.
For incoming materials and supplies, sort, identify and store in specified storage bins, shelves, and other locations.
As directed, count, prepackage, label, and perform other operations to facilitate storage and selection.
Ensure production needs are met by timely delivery of supplies and materials from warehouse to a variety of departments.
Maintain simple related stock records, prepare ordinary papers and perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.
Operate a variety of forklifts Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
Has the potential to handle hazardous waste as defined by Environmental protection agency.
Accurately counting and documenting an entire inventory of LM Wind Power Warehouse facilities once per month.
Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
Use as directed.
Traveling short distances on a regular basis to and from all warehouse facilities.
Identify, locate and adhere to the “LM Quality Policy” Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions and dispose of chemicals appropriately Clean around work area throughout the day to maintain 5S.
Any other function as determined by the company.
Required Qualifications Must successfully complete the 40-hour Hazwoper Course.
Required annual 8-hour refresher Hazwoper.
Must be able to drive a forklift and obtain forklift certification.
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Desired Characteristics High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in manufacturing or warehousing preferred.
