As we continue to expand our horizons, we're seeking a Process Engineer with expertise in aluminum foundry operations and machine shop processes to join our team and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in foundry processes, including casting and molding, as well as experience in machine shop operations such as CNC machining and finishing.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Your primary tasks will be to develop and optimize aluminum foundry processes, including sand casting and permanent mold, to improve yield, quality and throughput.
This includes implementing best practices and process improvements to minimize defects, reducing cycle times, and optimizing resource utilization.
You must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
You will lead continuous improvement projects to enhance machine shop processes, including CNC machining, milling, turning and finishing.
You will be working closely with production personnel to provide training and support on new processes and technologies.
Experience with Solidworks, CAD/CAM and Microsoft office are preferred, as is excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
