64 Summary: 2 weekday shifts: Tuesday through Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm OR Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm 1 evening shift: Tuesday through Saturday 3:00pm-11:30pm OR Sunday through Thursday 3:00pm-11:30pm The General Maintenance Worker will fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment and buildings.
This position will paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, heating, air-conditioning, and other hospital systems.
This position completes scheduled preventive tasks in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations or department procedures.
The technician initiates and completes work orders, parts requests and p.

This position repairs, replaces or installs equipment in estimated time frame and signs off discrepancies on round sheets.
The General Maintenance Worker operates and maintains many different types of equipment and keeps work areas and equipment in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
Essential Job Functions: Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
Performing tasks such as, but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman.
May adjust, repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
Completes scheduled preventive tasks in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations or department procedures within established time frames.
May perform inventory activities and order replacement parts and equipment with management approval.
Operates and maintains grounds equipment and high voltage generator sets.
Examines mechanical equipment to diagnose trouble.
Documents performance of work orders in the CMMS completely and accurately, including labor hours and materials used.
Assists skilled trade workers in one or more areas performing specific or standard duties to learn new skills as required for advancement and certification.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
