Job Title: Enrollment Specialist
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: $38,000-$50,000, depending on experience
Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (health premiums paid 100% by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave.

FLSA Status: Exempt Position Details: The function/mission of the Enrollment Center is to extend Mayville State University's promise of personal service to prospective on-campus first year and transfer students and parents, as well as online students, by providing face-to face and virtual tours and recruitment visits, attending college fairs, visiting high schools and community colleges, and holding outreach events and visit days for prospective students.
The Enrollment Center collaborates with academic divisions, athletic coaches and teams, and campus departments to assist with recruitment events and activities.
The purpose of this position is to serve prospective students, parents, staff, and others with information about the institution and its services.
This position serves as a representative for functions related to the recruitment of students.
The Enrollment Specialist contributes to the daily functions of the Enrollment Center to reach enrollment goals.
This position assists in enhancing the prospective student experience and provides student centered services.
The person in this position is also responsible for utilizing the TargetX CRM and student records system to generate detailed reports on application activity for institutional evaluation and annual report data.
Requires frequent phone contact interaction with applicants, university administrators and departments to provide pertinent application information, working as a member of a team, and flexibility.
Strong customer service skills, great attention to detail, experience with data reports, and the ability to work in a variety of operating systems.
Responsibilities and Duties Include: Attend college fairs, conduct high school and community college visits, and organize other recruitment visits as needed.
Meet with prospective students, parents, and school groups.
Conduct campus enrollment visits and tours as needed.
Monitor application progress and follow up with prospective students (enrollment tracking) via email, text, and phone.
Respond to UChat inquiries, phone calls, and email inquiries from prospective students and high school counselors.
Utilize Campus Connection, Twilio, and TargetX CRM in day-to-day operations to communicate with prospective students and applicants.
Establish and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community colleges, community agencies and businesses.
Work on digital and online recruiting visits and fairs of on-campus and online students.
Help with recruitment socials and community events off-campus as needed for academic departments and MSU overall.
Help with mailings and other campaigns to prospective students.
Meet designated recruitment goals for assigned region.
Assist with developing integrated marketing campaigns for prospective student recruitment (TargetX CRM, print, web, social media, etc.
) Assist with developing communications to prospective, applied and current students in TargetX CRM/digital, print, social media, web, texting, etc.
Track success of communications and post in social media as appropriate.
Assist with updating program factsheets, website content, viewbooks, mailing pieces, mailing lists, etc.
Contribute to Enrollment Center team meetings with new ideas and recruitment and outreach initiatives.
Attend other campus meetings as requested.
Work with Recruit a Comet Campaign, CollegVine, Cheeg, and other initiatives.
Perform other administrative tasks as needed for office operation.
Attend campus meetings and professional development opportunities as requested.
Assist with scholarship offers and other office needs.
Plan and assist with special events, including New Comet Registration Days, preview days, orientation, college fairs, weekend visit days, signing days, Football orientation and registration activities, and other Campus events.
Assist with creating, training, and assessing a campus tour script, reviewed annually, to highlight student experiences and campus resources.
Required Competencies: Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to effectively communicate in a professional, diplomatic, empathetic, and tactful manner.
Organization and Time Management - able to plan, schedule, and organize tasks related to the job to achieve goals within or ahead of established time frames.
Demonstrated public speaking abilities.
