Job Title: Coordinator of Student Success & Disability Support Services
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND

Compensation: $34,000 - $49,000 - based on experience
Job Description: The Coordinator of Student Success and Director of Disability Support Services works with all students that attend Mayville State University who require academic support to be successful at college.
This position works with students with disabilities to have accommodations for their classes.
Additionally, this position works with the faculty to help meet the needs of the students whether they are on campus or online.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide case management services to identified students.
Collect documentation for students with disabilities or health concerns.
Liaison to off-campus agencies and professionals who provide services to students with disabilities.
Develop and coordinate student success services to all students, including those enrolled at a distance.
Develop, maintain, and coordinate Starfish early alert warning system for high-risk students.
Testing center administrator for on-campus and off-campus students.
Develop success plans for those students who have appealed their academic suspension.
Coordinate outreach to dual credit schools with expectations of taking online courses.
Coordinate tutoring and structure tutoring instruction (STI) services.
Recruit and supervise peer tutors that provide individual and group tutoring services.
Work with faculty to develop STI services within high-risk courses.
Provide instruction to specific ground of students needing academic enhancement or support.
Develop and provide instruction and individual enhancement for students to successfully complete Praxis Core testing for admission to teacher education programs.
Speak to SOS courses about services on campus.
Required Competencies:
Must be customer oriented with excellent communication skills - interpersonal, oral and written.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and be self-motivated.
Competencies in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education.
Licensed teaching certificate in Special Education.
Two years' experience working with students with disabilities in middle/high school or a higher education setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Special Education
