Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to serve as the Head Girls’ Golf Coach for Grand Forks Central High School.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the development and success of our student-athletes both on and off the course.
The Head Girls’ Golf Coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the girls’ golf program, including but not limited to:
Developing and implementing effective training sessions and strategies to enhance player skills and team performance.
Fostering a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Providing mentorship and guidance to student-athletes to support their academic and personal growth.
Overseeing team logistics, including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements.
Collaborating with assistant coaches, athletic department staff, and parents to ensure the overall success of the program.
Upholding all organizational and league policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
Strong knowledge of golf fundamentals, tactics, and strategies.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes to reach their full potential.
Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
Valid coaching certifications/licenses.
Will have the opportunity to obtain certifications if hired.
Background check clearance.
