Position Description & Details Job Title: Classroom Aide - 9 Month Location: Grand Forks, ND – School for the Blind Compensation: $20,768.
32 - $21,820.
84- DOE Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (premiums paid for by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave.

Position Description: Mayville State University Child Development Programs is hiring a Classroom Aide who is responsible for providing classroom educational services to children ages 0-5.
This position must have great communication and organizational skills.
Duties include, but are not limited to: implementing curriculum, monitoring and reporting on educational progress, and providing a safe, educational environment for the children.
Applicants may receive financial assistance in obtaining continuing education.
CDP employees may qualify for student loan forgiveness.

Position Details: 9 month; full-time (40 hours/week) Be an adult of good physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health, and shall use mature judgment when making decisions impacting the quality of childcare Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, and oral) Experience working with diverse populations Qualifying degrees (if not qualified, must be willing to become qualified): CDA Credential AA ECE BA ECE BSED ECE BSED Elem Ed with ECE Minor Degrees in Child Development and Family Sciences may be acceptable; transcript will be checked after submission of required application materials.
Experience working with children birth to age 5 and their families.
Valid Driver’s License.
Experience with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations.
