Summary:
The Family Medicine Academic Coordinator is responsible for all residents accreditation requirements and monthly ACGME reports.
This position assists with recruitment, orientation and continuing education of residents.
The Family Medicine Academic Coordinate facilitates meetings and assists with the overall educational experience.

Prepares monthly and annual program reports for ACGME requirements.
Maintains knowledge of current accreditation.
Assists with integrating required competencies into the fellowship and review compliance according to ACGME requirements.
Maintains knowledge of current accreditation.

Coordinates all conferences and meetings for the residents, faculty and committees within the residency.
Assists with the recruitment and orientation of Family Practice residents.
Manages Sports Medicine Fellowship recruiting by gathering all pertinent applications and materials, sets up interviews and prepares the itinerary for the interview day, organizes and coordinates onboarding process for new Sports Medicine Fellows.
Coordinates continuing medical education meetings for the residency program including, but not limited to, contacting speakers, compiling handout material, brochure preparation, and follow-up with evaluations to all participants.
Assists residents with the educational experience.
Coordinates all conferences and meetings for residents, faculty and committees within the residency and maintains records according to the ACGME requirements.
Prepares the Continuity clinic and Sports Medicine clinic schedule for Sports Medicine fellows.
Obtains and monitors Sports Medicine encounter numbers.
Ensures evaluations are completed for residents and fellows.
Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Education:
• Required: High School - Related Field
• Preferred: Bachelors - Business- OR -Bachelors - Health Administration

• Required: A minimum of 2 years Related Experience
