Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree; excellent interpersonal and motivational skills; personal commitment to integrity of the athletic program and the concept of the student-athlete, commitment to diversity and inclusion and student engagement, knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the 3’-3’6” equitation.
Preference given to candidates who have a Masters or advanced degree; well educated in Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences, NCAA Division II recruiting experience, at least 1 year collegiate coaching experience in either the National Collegiate Equestrian Association or Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and basic computer skills.
The Assistant Equestrian Coah is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the Equestrian program.
This includes assisting with public and media relations efforts; recruiting players; monitor student athletes academic progress; assisting in organizing and supervising practice and off season programs; assist in fundraising, and additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
This position is a full-time, 10-month, annually renewable position.
