34 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: Yes Hybrid Work Availability: Yes Purpose of Position This mission of the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) is to provide excellent and collaborative education, scholarship, and service to advance human well-being for all, with an emphasis on rural and underserved populations.
The CNPD is comprised of three departments: Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, and Social Work.
The department of Social Work is seeking an adjunct instructor who will be responsible for the planning, presentation and evaluation of classroom instruction and all related activities.
For summer 2024, the teaching responsibility is 2 sections of SWK 537, Advanced Generalist Tools for Policy.
The position may be offered again in future semesters.
Duties & Responsibilities Planning, presentation and evaluation of classroom instruction and all related activities.
Required Competencies Highly developed oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Strong commitment to collegiality High interest in working as part of a collaborative team Strong understanding of and commitment to the profession's values, including diversity and social justice Minimum Requirements MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited Social Work program Two years of post-MSW practice Licensed or license-eligible by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
