Purpose of Position
Teach in the areas of general physical therapy care, basic sciences, and other areas in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Medicine & Health Sciences at the University of North Dakota.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching in the areas of general physical therapy care, basic sciences, and other areas of departmental need
Well-defined, ongoing scholarly agenda and dissemination
Service to the department, school, university, and profession
Advising graduate and undergraduate students
Minimum Requirements
Academic doctorate or earned DPT with a commitment to pursue academic doctorate appropriate for teaching responsibilities and scholarly activity
Advanced training with contemporary expertise and clinical experience in generalist physical therapy practice
Current PT license; eligible for ND license
3 years of clinical experience
Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
An academic doctorate in a field appropriate for teaching responsibilities
A Board Certified Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
Completion of an American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPT-RFE) program
Experience in clinical research or scholarly activity
Membership and involvement in professional associations
