Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
Qualifications: Job related experience is required.
Job Goal: Goal – orientated cheerleading coach with a disciplined approach to maximizing team success in all areas.
Highly supportive of academic excellence and bringing planning, problem-solving and relationship-building skills, well versed in overseeing team game and competition preparation.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Assesses skills and assigns teams positions & chooses team members.
Creates choreography and cheers.
Organizes practice sessions.
Monitors cheerleaders, recommending safe techniques.
Supervises warm-ups.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk and stand.
Lift sixty (60) lbs.
occasionally, with the ability to reach, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and/or crawl.
The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely.
Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others.
The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
Terms of Employment: 33 Weeks
Evaluation: Job performance will be evaluated by the Athletic Director
Salary listed is based on the 2021-2023 Teacher Negotiated Agreement.
