Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement educational programs
- Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Mentor and support students in their academic, social, and emotional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children, preferably in an elementary school setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in education
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and resources
