POSITION: Academic Affairs Coordinator

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: This is a full-time, 12-month, benefited position.
An 11-month position may be negotiated.

JOB SUMMARY: Lake Region State College is accepting applications for an Academic Affairs Coordinator.
This position will coordinate and monitor all operations of the LRSC’s dual credit / early entry program, which includes working in partnership with more than 60 high schools and home schools across North Dakota.
The coordinator will develop relationships with schools and those responsible for dual credit at the high school (HS counselor, principal), monitor K-12 changes within the high schools and CTE centers across the state, attend and represent LRSC’s dual credit program at K-12 events and conferences.
The coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment of new dual credit faculty and serve as an advisor to all dual credit students.
This position will also assist the division of Academic Affairs with coordination and maintenance of term schedules, MOUs, program fact sheet/website update, policy and procedure manuals, and teacher effectiveness surveys.
Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree and three years professional experience in business, education, or related field.
Applicant must have excellent communication and organizational skills; capacity to build rapport and work collaboratively; to work productively with minimal supervision; ability to multi-task, and to provide leadership for the dual credit program.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite is required, knowledge of Peoplesoft/Oracle and Blackboard are preferred.
Background in dual credit, advising, higher education, secondary education, or high school counseling is desired but not required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
This position requires some flexible work hours, including some evenings, weekends, early morning, and overnight travel.
SALARY: $52,000-$60,500 plus excellent benefit package.
