Video Game Designer

Primary duties: A video game designer designs and storyboards new features and collaborates with the development team to create new video games.
Video game designers come up with the games' concepts, characters, settings, storyline, and gameplay and work alongside the game's development team to bring their ideas to life.
Game Designer Responsibilities: Creating innovative games for entertainment or educational purposes.
Conceptualizing and developing characters, rules, settings, and stories for new games.
Pitching new game ideas to executives and clients.
Managing multiple teams and projects.
Prototyping new games.
Following industry trends and good practices.
Monitoring work and cash flows.
Developing design and gaming protocols.
Doing quality control.
Game Designer Requirements: Bachelor's degree in game design, computer science, or computer engineering.
Enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry.
Relevant certification in programming languages.
Portfolio of sample projects.
