Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Salary is to commensurate with level of training and experience, with a minimum of $35,000 annually
Benefits: Includes single or family health care coverage (premiums paid 100% by the university), basic life insurance, EAP, retirement plan, tuition waiver, annual and sick leave.

Description: This position provides accounts payable support and exceptional customer service for the Mayville State University Business Office.
Job duties include:
Travel reimbursement
Third-party billing
Financial aid disbursement
Audit preparation and planning
Financial statement preparation
Manage business office counter and customer communications along with other Business Office team members
Assist students when paying their bill for tuition, housing, dining, and fees
Assist other departments with cash receipts
Required Competencies:
Has a teamwork/collaboration/pro-active attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrates organizational and communication skills
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Minimum qualifications:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or related field
One year or more experience working in customer service
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Microsoft 365
