*Job Description*
The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily financial and fiscal transactions aspects of company operations.
Provide coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company.
*Job Responsibilities*
Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant position at our automotive group include but are not limited to:
* Manage a team of [4} office staff
* Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
* Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to dealership and OEM guidelines.
* Coordinate with outside accounting firm for annual review/audit requirements.
* Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, parts inventory, and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate.
* Oversee or perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, inter-company accounts.
* Monitors the daily operating (DOC) regularly and informs dealer principal of developing trends.
* Meeting with department heads regularly to go over business matters and develop plans to increase profitability.
* Proactively manage and safeguard company assets.
*Job Requirements*
Our Automotive Group is looking for the following requirements in the ideal candidate to be met.
* Associates Degree in Accounting.
* More than two years of Private or Public Accounting Experience.
* Demonstrates the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
* Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
* Experience in automotive industry preferred but not required.
*Additional Requirements*
* High character, strong work ethics.
* Advanced level knowledge with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word, and is expected to familiarize themselves with additional accounting software programs if necessary.

Pay: $65,000.
