What You’ll Take Ownership Of:
The Accounts Receivable Associate position plays an important role in the financial stability of Acme Tools.
This position is responsible for:
Researching credit applications, updating accounts, collecting and resolving payment issues for our customers
Preparing and sending monthly account statements to customers
Preparing and sending past due reminders to customers
Responding to sales tax related questions
Conducting credit investigations for new credit and finance applications
Completing credit reference requests
Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
Reconciling customer disputes, short, or skipped payments
Weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues
Performing other related duties as assigned
Love-To-Haves:
Associates’ Degree in Accounting, related field OR equivalent experience
Prior experience in AR/billing/collections
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative
Exceptional attention to detail
Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
Must be tenacious and personable, with excellent customer-service skills
