JOB SUMMARY:
The Accountant Director reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with team members of the business office.
This pivotal role heavily supports the CFO in analyzing and enhancing both operational and financial performance.
The Accountant Director’s responsible activities may include but are not limited to performing general and patient accounting and finance, statistical analysis reporting and supervision of functions and team members within the business office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Ability to comprehend and navigate accounting software program(s).
Proficient in Microsoft suits, specifically Microsoft Excel, ADP and finance broker system.
Must be able to work independently and be able to work effectively as a team member.
Must be able to work with frequent interruptions, maintaining a high degree of concentration.
Possess problem solving skills.
Knowledge of financial, accounting and cost accounting.
Excellent time management of one’s own time and time of others.
Ability to participate and self-educate for job related needs.
Knowledge of healthcare accounting and financial processes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Must possess the ability to calculate large numbers with accuracy and efficiency.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with others.
Passion for establishing and ensuring financial gain within an organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related fields (preferred).
1-2 years general healthcare Accounting and Financial experience.
3-5 years general healthcare Accounting and Financial experience (preferred).
Previous management experience of people and projects.
Current MN CPA license(preferred).
Must pass MN background check, accompanied with finger printing.
Complete TB test within the first 2 weeks of employment.
