The In-Store Visual Merchandiser takes the lead on implementing visual merchandising standards and guidelines at the store level that are consistent with the Company's standards and directives.
They plan, communicate, implement and train store partners to properly execute dressing of in-store merchandising, forms, signing, accent lighting, fixturing standards, and execute visual directives in the store to gain consistent presentation standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate, plan and implement seasonal visual sets with Store Manager.
Partner with store management on communication and implementation of visual standards (adjacencies, sale events, visual set-ups, promotions, special events).
Oversee and perform daily visual maintenance for all areas.
Work with management staff and associates to see that daily standards are executed and maintained.
Train, develop, direct, and oversee store staff on visual merchandising best practices.
Participate in weekly walk-through with Store Manager and conduct workload planning meeting.
Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management.
Work varied hours/days as business dictates Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: 1-2 years of retail experience; preferably in visual merchandising or retail management.
Completed college-level coursework in Fashion Merchandising, Architecture, Interior Design or Art Related Field preferred Competencies Customer Centric/Sales Driven - Assesses customer experience within the store and promotes a culture of customer engagement.
Is attentive to customers and understands their needs, offers products that are aligned with the consumers' expectations.
Continually searches for ways to improve customer service.
Ensure Effective Communication - Listens carefully and attentively to others' opinions and ideas.
Communicates information clearly, concisely, and professionally.
Establish Trust - Follows through on commitments.
Is honest and direct with others.
Promotes a culture of respect for, commitment to, and compliance with Company values, beliefs, and standards.
Ensures the protection of confidential information.
