POSITION: Tree Inventory Associate/Intern (three positions)
LOCATION: City of Devils Lake, ND

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time temporary.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: Duties include: Using technology to document the current extent and status of ash trees in the City of Devils Lake.
To collaborate with the ND Forest Service and the City of Devils Lake to create a baseline map of current canopy coverage.
To gather and report data regarding the condition of individual trees.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associates must have completed their junior year of high school by June 1, 2024, must be eligible for enrollment as a student intern as either a degree seeking student or as an early entry student.
Associates must be academically eligible (2.
5 GPA or higher; 3.
0 GPA preferred).
Supervisor must have demonstrated professional experience managing information and supervising others.
Successful applicants must be highly-motivated and self-directed with the ability to work with limited supervision.
SALARY: Associates: $15 per hour.
