Job Summary:
As a Parts Counter Assistant, you'll sell parts to guests over the counter, through the service department, and on the phone.
Accomplishes objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, inventory security, pricing, merchandising, displaying, and advertising.
Responsibilities
Answers phone calls utilizing the appropriate phone etiquette and, providing price quotes and other information.
Provides high level of service to retail and internal guests.
Fill orders from stock when possible.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary authorizing the transaction with a purchase order number.
Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Automotive parts knowledge required
Valid Driver's License
Clean driving record
