$2 an hour evening/overnight shift differential and part time 7 percent premium pay added to base wage!!

The Universal Worker provides high-quality and safe personal care assistance to senior living tenants that is consistent with the current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations as well as the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Eventide.
Will also perform housekeeping, laundry, and planning and life enrichment activities as needed.
Ideal Candidate
Must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire
Must have a current ND MA I license or be able to obtain upon hire
Must be trained and pass Eventide’s Home Health Aide (HHA) competency training and test administered by Eventide
Must currently be in good standings on all nursing assistant registries in which you have been placed in the U.
S.
Essential Job Duties
Assists tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assists tenants with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises.
Observes and/or assists with medications that may have been ordinarily self-administered.
May give oral and trans-dermal medications, patches, eye drops, topical ointments, and suppositories under the direction of the nurse.
Reads and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
Provides adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
Performs blood sugar testing and documents results.
Provides tenants with emotional and cognitive support.
Socializes with tenants.
Listens, converses, and participates in appropriate activities – reading mail, writing letters, etc.
Gives guidance, redirection, and re-orientation to tenants as needed.
Develops a rapport with tenants and families to develop an understanding of the needs and interests.
Documents in tenant records as instructed and in a timely manner.
Participates in the development, implementation and review of tenant’s plan of care.
Recognizes and reports significant changes in the tenant’s health, behavior and/or general appearance to the nurse.
Complies with infection control policies and procedures.
Recognizes emergencies and carries out emergency procedures according to policy.
Promptly reports any occurrences of physical or mental abuse or potential for vulnerable adult reports to supervisor.
Reviews communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes that may have occurred.
Cleans apartments, service areas, and common areas.
Sorts, washes, dries, and folds personal clothing and linens.
Re-stocks supplies as needed.
Assists with serving meals in dining room.
Performs pet care per policy.
