As a *Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)* at the Life Skills and Transition Center (LSTC) you will act as an advocate helping those we serve become more independent and ready to transition to the community as well as achieve their lifelong goals and dreams.

Do you enjoy helping others grow? Are you a team player? As a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDPs) with LSTC, you are a part of management team that supports and cares for people with intellectual disabilities.
QIDP’s are responsible for: Coordinating and developing services for the needs of those you serve, collaborating with Direct Care staff, interdisciplinary team members and other departments to improve the lives of those you serve; ensuring fulfillment in LSTCs Mission and Values, responsible in the communication of training, safety and agency policies and procedures.
LSTC has provided services for people with intellectual disabilities for over 100 years, are well known as the Safety net of ND throughout the state of ND.
We have positively impacted thousands of people with special needs and their families over the years.
Experienced managers provide regular supervision, so you feel supported and valued.

*To succeed in this position*, you must have a person-first centered approach and be able to convey information accurately, respectfully, and thoroughly to team members, persons served, their legal representative(s) and/or other individuals involved in supporting the goals and dreams of the person served.
You must be able to maintain accurate records, perform basic computer skills and enter data into online computer systems.
*To be considered for this position*, you must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related fields.
One-year experience working with people with intellectual disabilities.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Supervisory experience and experience in providing services to the intellectually disabled is a plus.
