00/hr Contract, Exempt Dates: 05/16/2024 - 12/31/2026 18-28 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: No Hybrid Work Availability: No Purpose of Position This is a part-time instructional/teaching assistant position to help facilitate laboratory instruction, delivery of Medical Laboratory Science curriculum, and instructional support for the Medical Laboratory Science department.
Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the development, planning, delivery, and evaluation of laboratory and simulated coursework Assist with development and/or implementation of departmental and curricular initiatives Required Competencies: Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to properly handle biohazardous samples/specimens Ability to operate medical laboratory equipment Ability to work individually and in groups Minimum Requirements: Baccalaureate degree in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science or related field Completion of a NAACLS-accredited MLS program Actively enrolled in a post-certification Master's in Medical Laboratory Science program Successful completion of criminal history records check In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
