*Job Title:* Site Coordinator (Full-Service Community Schools)
*Location*: Griggs County Central School District (Cooperstown, ND)
*Reports to:* NDFSCS Integrated Student Support Services – Chief of Staff
*FLSA Status: *Half-Time (Exempt) 95 days, Primarily Aug-May
*Salary Range*: $25,000/annually
*Position Overview: *The School Site Coordinator is dedicated to extending the capacity of the school by assisting students and families to overcome learning barriers.
The Site Coordinator acts as a “Community Organizer” inside the building, prioritizing the enhancement and implementation of programs and services that support whole-child health.
The Site Coordinator creates, strengthens, and maintains the bridge between the school and community through facilitating and providing leadership for the collaborative process and development of a continuum of services for children, families and community members within the school neighborhood.
*Qualifications/Skills Required:* • Bachelor’s degree in education or human service field or equivalent work experience; • One-three years experience in planning, coordination and implementation of program activities, goals and strategic plans; • Experience working with children and adolescents, youth agencies, social services and school systems; • Strong relationship building skills, including community outreach and partnership establishment; • Action oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Advocacy skills and effective communication with families facing adversity; • Persistence.

30% Project Planning* * Build collaborative relationships with school partners, including administration, teachers, and other support staff to develop and enhance services and programs across the various Full-Service Community Schools Pipelines: \*Early Childhood Development.
\*Remedial & Academic Enrichment Activities \*Family Engagement.
\*Community-Based Supports \*Wellness: Primary Health & Dental Care, Nutrition & Physical Activity, Behavioral Health Supports \*Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention \*Workforce Readiness & Development: Adult Education, Service-Learning Opportunities, Job Training & Career Counseling \* \*Mentoring & Other Youth Development Programs * Facilitate needs assessment processes with stakeholder groups to identify program priorities; * Assist school site in the development of individual strategic plans; * Establish regular meeting schedules with the school’s Principal; * Participate in various NDFSCS Consortium meetings including Site Coordinator and School Site Networks * Meet with school staff to coordinate program services; * Participate in various school committees to inform and identify program needs; * Communicate North Dakota’s Full-Service Community Schools Consortium mission and vision to school staff, community, parents, and students; *2.
50% Project Implementation* * Implement identified evidenced-based activities, promising strategies and programs to support the development of full-service community schools; * Organize work groups to support the implementation of the strategic plan; * Maintain records and documentation from all groups and committees; * Provide technical assistance to school sites on evidence-based activities, promising strategies and programs to support best practices; * Conduct ongoing community and partner outreach to explore partnership opportunities; * Provide feedback on fidelity of program implementation; * Act as a school liaison for students and families to coordinate basic needs requests including food, clothing, housing and medical supports; * Coordinate various family engagement activities that promote the role of caregivers as partners in student success * Work closely with Project Director and Regional Coordinators to implement the Full-Service Community Schools Project, communicate project progress, and ensure data is being collected to support the program evaluation plan; * Research and development of program sustainability plan.

10% Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement* * Manage program data; assist individual schools in gathering evaluation data; and ensure accurate and meaningful data is being collected, reported and analyzed.
* Generate and publish required reports, metrics, documents, forecasts, and special reports for full transparency * Assist in the process of facilitating various school-based evaluation activities * Conduct program and service check-ins with partners and providers to gather implementation feedback along with overall program impact *4.
5% Sustain Long Term Viability and Growth* * In conjunction with the North Dakota Full Service Community School Consortium, review the current programs and identify potential funding opportunities that align to the agency's strategic goals.
* Participates in the strategic planning and implementation through attending meetings and planning sessions.
* Actively seeking external funding opportunities through local, federal and foundation grants.

Document professional development including but not limited to: trade shows, webinars, training classes, special certifications and by engaging in other professional development activities.
