We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to fill the role of Receptionist/Legal Administrative Assistant.
This position is crucial to the smooth operation of our legal office, as you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors and will provide essential administrative support to our legal team.
\*Starting wage is negotiable based upon experience Responsibilities: 1.
Reception Duties: * Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
* Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

Administrative Support: * Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys.
* Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and other materials as needed.
* File and organize legal documents and records both electronically and in hard copy.
* Handle billing and invoicing tasks.
* Update and maintain client databases and case files.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for attorneys when necessary.

Client Relations: * Assist clients with inquiries and provide basic information about our services.
* Ensure that clients feel welcomed and comfortable during their visits to the office.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with clients both in person and over the phone.
4.
Legal Assistance: * Provide general administrative support to attorneys, such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
* Assist with basic legal research tasks.
* Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Assist in the preparation of court filings and other legal submissions.
Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or legal studies is a plus.
* Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role, preferably in a legal setting.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is desirable but not required.
