We are seeking a new home for our very sweet and protective couple of doggos.
We prefer them to stay together as they have been inseparable for more than 2 years.
However, exceptions will be made for the right families.
Axel - Is a 5 y/o German/Belgian Shepherd, weighing about 70lbs, he is up to date on his shots, and is NOT fixed.
He is very sweet and loving boy, he does bark at the mailman and unfamiliar guests, however he is very quick to cuddle up to those he loves and seek belly rubs.
He is very gentle around kids, and loves playing with his squeaking ball toy.
Cedar - Is a 2.
5 y/o German Shepherd/Border collie mix, weighing about 35lbs.
Cedar is up to date on her shots and IS fixed.
She is a sweet and loving girl, but she does bark slightly more than Axel.
Again, she is very quick to warm up to those who give her belly and chest rubs.
Cedar is sometimes overwhelmed easily around young children and small animals, she has been this way since we adopted her as a young puppy.
I believe this would just require a slightly longer integration period into the home.
For best outcomes I would suggest that they are the only animals in a home with no small children.
They do understand basic commands (sit, lay down, cage, outside) They also sleep indoors, and more often than not at the foot of our bed.
However, we do have an old toddler bed they like to sleep on.
They love running around and playing in the back yard.
We feed them Sams Club brand Kibble.
All bowls, bed, kennel, remaining food, collars/leashes will be given to the new family.
We love these dogs, and for that reason we want to see them in a home that has more time to exercise them, and give them the love and attention they deserve.
Unfortunately, over the last 2 years our life circumstances have changed and we feel we no longer are meeting their needs.
