The Bulk Truck Driver Propane is responsible for safe and efficient transportation of products.
The Transport Driver is an essential member of our organization as he/she is accountable for the handling of products, safe delivery of product, and meeting customer needs.
The dependable and safety-conscious individual will be responsible for properly driving his/her truck and ensuring everybody’s safety.
Responsibilities and Duties Drive and operate trucks.
Follow delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch.
Utilize electronic logs and dispatch software.
Pre-inspect trucks.
Load and unload the tank and handle hazardous liquids.
Verify loads for accuracy.
Transport the product safely to the delivery site.
Properly complete required paperwork.
Adhere to safety regulations.
Communicate with customer upon delivery site.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
CDL – Class B 21 years or older.
HAZMAT endorsement required.
Northdale Oil will assist in getting the endorsements for otherwise qualified applicants.
Specific skills: Traffic laws/DOT regulations/driving knowledge Ability to lift 80 pounds.
Ability to pass random drug tests.
Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past seven years.
Listening and verbal communication skills.
