Class A CDL Driver

*POSITION PURPOSE:* Be a Truck Driver for a fast paced construction company that produces award winning work.
Drivers must safely pre-inspect, operate and secure trucks and the immediate area surrounding the equipment.
Tasks: * Show up to work on time * Ensure proper license, credentials and authorizations are current for all equipment to be operated * Review the nature of the work to be accomplished and the proper techniques needed to accomplish the job correctly and safely.
* Ensure all necessary personal protective equipment is available and used * Conduct pre-start/walk around inspection per inspection guidelines * Conduct pre-operation machine maintenance per maintenance guidelines * Keep Equipment Cab clean from Debris * Housekeeping: windows and cab * Be aware of surroundings when equipment is in operation * Wear seatbelts at all times * Wear proper PPE: safety vest, eye and hearing protection * Understand the mechanics of how the equipment functions * Understand the physics of equipment in motion * Understand the hazards of equipment in motion and stationary * Do not modify equipment’s capacity and safety features per manufacture guidelines * Do not overload equipment * Unattended equipment will be parked as required by safety guidelines * Contact Supervisor to address Haz-Mat and job-site hazards * Be aware of stress and fatigue * Mount & dismount equipment safely and properly * Startup inspection: 360 inspection of equipment * Follow equipment start up and operation protocol * Follow PTO safety and operation protocol * Follow refueling safety guidelines * Adhere to all job-site and road rules * Adhere to OSHA and job-site rules and regulations * Equipment is properly shut down and secured after daily operation * Conducts daily and weekly equipment maintenance * Work well with a diverse group of people including office staff, field personnel, the general public, supervisors and shop personnel * Other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.
