2006 Jeep Liberty cheap winter 4x4 - $1,000 (Shelly)

I got this 2006 Jeep Liberty at auction several weeks back.
The bad: rusty to the point the plastic rocker covers are falling off, had mice in the headliner so it's a bit stinky, has a CV joint going bad (not terrible but clunky when running in 4wd and turning a corner).
Some electrical problems which are probably all one bad connection (radio, ABS, stability control all not working).
Higher miles at 250k.
The good: 3.
7 V6 runs great, 4wd works great, tires are nearly new.
Drives nice in and out of 4wd, gets over 20mpg on highway.
I ripped out the reeking mouse infested headliner and have a nice clean junkyard one to go in it.
It's currently airing out.
I think with a good thorough cleaning of the carpet and seats the smell will be gone or minimized, mice were in headliner but apparently not seats or heater.
If it sits a few weeks I'll finish cleaning it, install the headliner, and raise the price a few hundred.
I was going to use it for a winter beater and mud runner but just got a really nice Explorer so have lost interest.
When the snowstorms hit you're going to wish you had this.
