Job Title: HVAC Service Technician Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, gas heating, refrigeration, and controls systems.
This individual must excel in customer relations and communication while demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities: Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair with a comprehensive understanding of controls systems.
Conduct gas heating and refrigeration troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
Demonstrate excellent customer relations and communication skills while interacting with clients.
Collaborate with team members to provide efficient and effective solutions to HVAC equipment issues.
Share knowledge and provide training to junior staff members to facilitate their professional development.
Maintain service vans and equipment to ensure readiness for field assignments.
Requirements: Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting and controls systems.
Proficiency in gas heating and refrigeration troubleshooting and repair.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
HVAC certification and relevant licenses preferred.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications: HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
Experience working with a variety of HVAC equipment including heat pumps, PTACs, mini-splits, furnaces, chillers, boilers, and RTUs.
Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role, training junior staff members.
Additional Information: This position reports to the Service Manager.
Relocation assistance and a potential sign-on bonus are available for the right candidate.
The position must be filled prior to the upcoming cooling season (April-May).
We maintain a team of 45 individuals including commercial installers, service technicians, shop fabricators, and administrative personnel.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on a wide range of HVAC equipment and contributing to the success of our team 80 to 90 k with relocation for right candidates
