ranked the Best Residential and Outpatient chemical dependency treatment center in the region is seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) to facilitate groups and provide primary individual counseling in our residential and outpatient programs.
Requires current LAC license in the state of North Dakota.
Experience in chemical dependency and mental health treatment is preferred, but not required.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conduct assessments to determine client treatment needs
Provide individual and group counseling, using a variety of therapeutic techniques, to facilitate and maintain sobriety and wellness, to assist in growth and progress toward completion of treatment plan goals and objectives
Develop materials for and facilitate client group meetings such as 12 step, relapse prevention, trauma, parenting, spirituality, etc.

Assess client progress to evaluate the success of treatment
Maintains records and documents on clients and treatment progress as required by Federal, state, insurance/payment provider, and ShareHouse standards, regulations, and policies.
Attend and participate in staff meetings to consult with other professional staff to ensure appropriate treatment, programming, and client progress.
Conduct administrative duties to include progress notes and documentation, creation and review of treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a current Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) license in the State of North Dakota.
