Position Overview:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
The Production Associate - Photo Editor must have a keen attention to detail as they are responsible for enhancing images taken by our in-house photographers or provided by Suppliers that contain DigiKey products by editing them to our image guidelines and adding them to the product detail page on our website.
Responsibilities:
Complete any edits, clones, retouches and additional adjustments on images to ensure required accuracy and quality standards are delivered
Ensures images are named, organized, stored, and archived appropriately upon completion
Compile, enhance and format existing photographs and images (from manufacturers whenever possible) to make available for both high, and lower resolution media
Work with Supplier Product Managers and the Product Information teams to ensure accuracy of images
Navigate our website and use search parameters to search for images
Ensure images meet DigiKey’s quality standards and specifications
Track and manage tasks within Smartsheets
Utilize Excel spreadsheets for processing work items
Understand and follow brand standards
Taking on additional responsibilities from the Marketing Production leadership
Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
Take notes and help execute activities that results from Production efforts
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Understanding of the various functions of DigiKey, how they work together as well as the industry DigiKey operates in
Ability to read and understand datasheets to guarantee images match based on descriptions
Tools / Systems / Software
Experience with Photoshop, Smartsheets and Microsoft Excel preferred
Physical Requirements:
Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
